Chelsea star Marcos Alonso responds to Real Madrid transfer speculation

 

Marcos Alonso has dismissed transfer speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
The left-back has been among Chelsea’s standout players since he joined the club from Fiorentina in 2016.
His form was recognised by Spain manager Julen Lopetegui during the current international break, with Alonso receiving his first call-up to the national side. The Chelsea defender is expected to receive his first cap tonight when the 2010 World Cup winners take on Argentina.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it’s led to talk of a possible move, but Alonso only has eyes for Chelsea.
‘I haven’t considered that possibility, I just try to give the best of myself to my team,’ he told Spanish media.
